All of the 32 to 40’ wide metal buildings listed here on Carport Direct come with a vertical roof which means the snow slides off of the roof. The sides and ends of these portable storage buildings can be put on to enclose the carport into a metal garage. The car ports and garages sides and ends are vertical, going up and down. We also provide boxed eave or A-frame buildings in sizes up to 70 feet wide. They are slightly more economical than the All vertical metal buildings. However, we strongly suggest you buy a vertical metal building as they offer a superior protection, easy maintenance, and warranty on long buildings (longer than 36’ length)

All our metal buildings (32’-40’ wide listed on this site) include: 13′ Walls, 14 Gauge Frame, One Center Brace on Every Bow, One 3′ Brace on Every Leg, Concrete or Ground Anchors, Bows/Legs 5′ On Center, & One Panel Down Each Side with J-trim for Strength & Stability. The single panel on each side of your RV car port also protects your RV/Motorhome from gusty winds, sun’s rays, and hail/rain. These metal buildings are excellent examples of the high-quality metal structures ready to serve you for years. Each steel structure has a special truss support at each bow which makes them rated for either 155 mph wind and 35 pounds per square foot of snow or the heavy snow load 70psf and 105mph depending on your local code.

When you order a metal building from Carport Direct today, your credit card is authorized but you pay only after you confirm your order with our ordering department. Yes, our ordering department will call you within 48 hours of your ordering metal building with Carport Direct. Once we are clear about your requirements and your installation area and surface, we process your order without any delays. Your order then goes into one of our manufacturing partners’ facilities where it is processed so that we can build a robust metal building kit for your needs. These kits are then loaded on to the installation truck and built on site. Our installers call you a week before and 50% of the deposit is due currently (one week prior to installation). You can pay us the remaining amount on the final installation through a personal check or through a credit card/cash.

These metal buildings are built in a 14 GA steel tubing. You can also order a much more robust and thicker 12 GA steel tubing. The steel framing on all the 14-gauge tubing and 12-gauge tubing comes with a 20-year rust through warranty to ensure long lasting metal carports and garages. The 32 to 40 wide metal buildings are delivered and installed to your level concrete pad with cement anchors or to the ground with mobile home anchors. All the metal buildings come with a 90-day workmanship warranty from the date of installation. The side height on these steel buildings come standard with 8′ legs but can be made taller with 10′, 12′, 14′, 16′, 18′ and 20′ tall side height.
