Certify Your Double Car Metal Garage

Certified steel structures have been designed according to certain standards and engineered to meet and exceed local wind and snow ratings. While some areas do not require a certification for buildings due to their weather conditions, we always recommend having your unit certified as it will help protect it from harsh weather conditions. We offer two steel framing sizes to choose from, 12- and 14- gauge. The 12-gauge tubing has a dimeter of 2 ¼”x 2 ¼”, a thicker, more durable option for framing. We recommend this option for areas with harsh weather conditions such as high winds, heavy rainfall, and accumulating snow. The industry-standard, 14-gauge framing is a thinner option with a diameter of 2 ½” 2 ½”. Since it is thinner, it has more give than the 12-gauge, making it easier to work with.
